Today Mr. Ethan is 9 weeks old....and he's doing some smirks and smiles here and there, very cute to see that. Yesterday, we actually DID get some decent snow - for here anyway. We had enough to "play" in it for a bit. Yes, we took him out in it too; of course all bundled up and in the Bjorn so he fell asleep nice & toasty. Here are a few pics from our playtime yesterday.
Yesterday was also Obama's inauguration. It definitely had a lot of meaning for a lot of reasons, but mainly I thought about it as it relates to Ethan's future and how this change could affect him. Leadership makes such a huge difference - whether it's at home, work, or in politics. It was a day to remember. What a cool time in history to be raising a little boy to be whatever he wants to be!
