Fun Times in NY

We finally got back from NY today - we stopped last night in Raleigh and stayed there since the dogs were there and it was just too late to stay in the car. Ethan had his limit! Although, I gotta' say, that he did absolutely fantastic in the car both ways. Going to NY it was 15 hours, and coming back it was over 13. He only cried once both ways. He was able to meet a ton of family up there - cousins & 2nd cousins, great grandparents, and even a friend of mine from a hundred years ago in elementary school.

My grandparents keep their house VERY hot, so we were all quite snuggly up there. The only time we felt the cold was when we went outside and took pics. The outside woodsy pics are from a local place called Crandall Park. There was already 2.5 feet of snow on the ground and there were flurries two days that we were there. When we got to Raleigh, we learned that Raleigh was expecting snow last night (didn't get any) and there's a chance that Eastern NC will get some tomorrow. This is definitely a winter-wonderland this year.

The pic of Jason changing Ethan on the truck bed was taken in maybe Maryland along I95...It was actually warm there when we stopped so we figured it would be easier and less stinky to do it there. Didn't know the truck doubled as a changing table.

The video is of Ethan's great grandparents and their poodle, of course.
