Thank God It's December Tomorrow

This month has been absolutely a kick-ass, pound-my-head-on-concrete, want to move to another planet, type of month. We've all been continually sick for literally over a month. Ethan's finishing up some antibiotics now. We had a grand finale this morning at his year checkup with FIVE shots. Yes, 5. Pretty much like torture. Hopefully he won't have any reactions to them but they did say a fever was typical with this one, and a rash is typical with that one, and...who the hell knows what they said, who can keep all that straight? Anyway, December 1st couldn't get here any faster if I donated my right arm to speed it up.

So during this awful month, Ethan had his first birthday which was a great day except that he got sicker throughout the day and his eyes were bloodshot, soupy, and snotty. Otherwise all was good. One nice thing we did was meet 2010 by getting a new TV. Ours was about 13+years old and was square, didn't really receive the new & improved signal stuff like it should, had purple & green spots on it a lot...it was time to change & upgrade. And since we had $300 in giftcards at Best Buy we were able to justify the purchase much easier. We went there on Black Friday and seriously only had to stand in line less than 10minutes. They had some intense customer service going on there! It actually allowed us to move some furniture around and gain more space, which is always a plus.

Been hard to be in the holiday spirit lately with all the crud lately but soon we'll get a tree up or something & make it look a little more festive.

Michelle got shots today too! But she only had two...not FIVE! Hope the little guy fairs well.
