Merry Christmas everybody,
Well, we have been celebrating our first Christmas with Ethan. It has been wonderful to have all of his great big family come to New Bern and meet him. It has also been a big help to mom and dad since we're still trying to figure out all of his rules.
Christmas day has been a little different in that we're at our own house for the first time this year. We have always been in Raleigh or New York (or traveling between the two). It is a bit sad not being around our families, but having another stocking on the fireplace reminded us that we're a family with our own traditions now. Ethan has some fun new toys to play with and learn more about his world from, we'll be sure to use them so that the next time he sees you he'll be a genius. Speaking of that he rolled over from his stomach to back on his own twice today.....pure genius. Dad got himself a nice red onesie so he can look just like Ethan, and mom got some cool new clothes. It's been a fun day with lots of presents and food, but it's just too warm for Christmas this year in NC. Ethan says he wants at least 4" of snow this winter in New Bern.
